This album contains some of the first music I composed for the "Nature Ambience" series that I upload on Youtube. The story of the album goes back to when the COVID-19 pandemic had it's first wave in Denmark.

I had just started my education in film and television production some months prior and hearing that the world was going into this massive crisis made me very afraid at first. Like many other educational institutions in the country, I was sent home and did not find it comforting very much.

Since Denmark was one of the countries that did not have an exit ban, (but still highly recommended that you stayed indoors) I decided to visit some of the forests that I grew up experiencing as a child. Back then, I did a lot of orientation races and looking for posts scattered around the woods.That gave me an urge to explore a lot more later in life.

When I then visited the forests in 2020, I was there alone most of the time and that made me stop and listen to the sights and sounds around me. In a way, I felt that I had missed out on what the feeling of ambience and scilence was when I was running back then by myself and only focused on getting to my goal.

I visted the forests a couple more months and at the same time, I started listening to a lot of ambience and new wave artists and found it inspiring that they sometimes utilized the sounds of nature to create electronic sounds that mixed very well with nature.

In December of that year, I decided to record a series of videos of the things I saw in the forests and afterwards tried to create a melody that matched what you see as a visual.

I have now a year later decided to release the tracks as remixed versions of the original tracks to make them more lifelike to the visual they came from but the structure of the tacks are still the same as the originals. Since this is also some the earliest work I have done, it sounds very minimalistic but understand that this was only the first step to how I would evolve in my composing skills later.
